Halloween Will More Than Likely Be The Next Target of #CancelCulture

Recently made this FB status in regards to addressing #CancelCulture and how I feel we should start campaigning to “save” Halloween even though it hasn’t been cancelled… YET!      ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿฆดโ˜ ๏ธ

Friends of mine made different suggestions and some of the ideas were quite humorous, others were downright “proposterous”, but none of them can or ever could replace good ole Halloween in my mind

I say we stick to the traditional Halloween, The one we’ve always known with all of its quirks, quarks, and traditions left just how they are.

In almost any autobiographical or biographical accounting of one’s life (anyone who grew up celebrating halloween) specifically in yheir younger years and growing up, there will more than likely be fond memories of Halloween antics mentioned at least once.

I have dozens of Halloween stories that my friends and I share often, from many’a hallows eve adventures, and 81.666% of those memories/stories are wholesome, innocent, and character building!

There’s certain things that have a special kind of excitment in our younger years; Christmas Eve/Morning is great and magical for most of us fortunate enough to grow up blessed. Thanksgiving and Birthdays are memorable, fun, and they do make one feel special, sure…

But, there’s just something special about Halloween… I don’t know if it’s because you’re often granted a special amount of freedom from your parents and family to go out and

Halloween night out trick-or-treating with your friends, is one of these things. being between the ages of 12-17 and getting caught up in the excitement surrounding and leading up to Halloween is contagious in the best way possible! The very atmosphere and spirit around

Having to defend your candy from being stolen by the older “kids”, eggings/being egged,

I know Halloween holds a very special and dear place in my heart and in the heart of many of my peer’s. It’s a long standing tradition and one that’s embedded deeply into our culture with tons of historical, factual, and mythical lore behind it.

It’s something I want my son, nieces, nephews, and all children in Canada to have the chance to experience. And they should have the freedom to experience how it’s meant to be!

Spooky, fun, alrighty dangerous, and full of great memories!

#IMiO of course ๐Ÿ™

Thanks, stay spooky!

Content Creators Like This Are A Real “Virus”

I cannot stand seeing this type of content being pushed… It’s literally bought and paid for in lies and deceit!

Then at the end of the day… Any creator with this type of content just washes their hands clean and moves into the next topic that gets numbers/money ๐Ÿ’ฐ

“150 vaccines in development”
“Some are failing, some are succeeding”

“So far everyone that took the Chinese vaccine is safe from covid”

“15,000 volunteers are taking this vaccine in the Emirates RIGHT NOW!”

“This is tested on different nationalities to make sure it’s good for everyone!”

“Once this is figured out we can go back to normal”

“These people with the COVID19 vaccine in their body GIVE US HOPE!”

I cannot stand this guy… It’s ALL money, he’s literally selling the dream of “hope” for something that isn’t even a fatal issue… These types of content creators are part of the problem. They’ll support ANYTHING that gives them views.

Monopolization – Mobile Companies In “Capitalist-Canada”

#MediaReview #IMiO

Sometimes I grow weary of seeing how blatantly transparent corporations and other large entities act about “robbing us blind”

https://www.facebook.com/wearenorth99/

This is sadly bang on!

After experiencing nothing less than “EXTORTION” at one of their locations – I looked into The Walmart “Mobile-Booth” inside of the Champlain Mall.

Looking into one specific “Booth” led me into a whole bunch of statistics and job opportunities… But, it also led me to see a lot of information that isn’t necessarily “hidden” from us – most of us just choose not to see it because…

Well, we all NEED them cellphones and that internet (I know I do)

The price comparisons and differences between Rogers, Bell, Telus, etc
When compared to smaller & more competitive Cellphone/Mobile markets around the world is ridiculous!

The difference in price/rates was ASTONISHING (to say the least)

There’s special offers, vouchers, deals, and even more prizes/rewards in other countries…

Even the USA has these weird and quirky specials, like, for Pete’s Sake! I’ve seen offers for “$10 off monthly costs” or “$20 for 1.5GB of Data” (which is no an offer) but we RARELY have any of the good offers and rates like many companies offered when they first started taking off here around 2010 and since.

I can remember getting some pretty banging deals! Then suddenly they all started to vanish and company started going back on these offers and recontracting you.

And we’re basically the same Country as the USA these days, right? *Crickets* (kidding – please don’t #cancel me)

At least in America they “attempt” to hide the obvious downside to capatilism (which isn’t all that bad) after all, usually we get what we put into this world and game called life #IMiO

We’re literally cash cows up here in the North these days (well it feels like that sometimes anyway)

I love my Country and Canada is great no matter what a string of poor leadership may or may not have done to our establishments and economy.

That’s not what this is about though!

So yeah! Don’t let me kill your mood or anything – gotta stay HAPPY, right? (For real though)

Live, laugh, love, and all that

Thanks,

EhMaritimeSecret – Evan
